Rhian Hayward Bsc. DPhil

Rhian Hayward Consulting was founded in 2007 and is based in Aberystwyth, Mid Wales. Rhian Hayward founded the company after gaining more than 10 years of varied technical and commercial experience in the life sciences and biotechnology sectors.

Rhian has held Marketing, Event Management, Business Development and Product Management roles in start up and public companies in the UK including Abcam plc, Procognia Ltd and Sense Proteomic Ltd.

Prior to working in industry, Rhian established an academic track record. She is an inventor on several patents and has 14 peer reviewed scientific publications in the parasitology field. Her academic career highlights include three years as a Visiting Research Fellow at the NIAID, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda MD, U.S.A. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy from University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Science (first class honours) from King's College London.
